Health Checkup Camp
Sri G.V.G Visalakshi College Organized Health Checkup-camp for the hostel students on 7/3/2022 .A total of 263 students were covered during checkup. The Purpose of this event is to bring awareness and medical checkup including medical service such as Physical Checkup, Blood and Haemoglobin test. The College has tied up with reputed heath care institute (R.V Hospital, Udumalpet).
The health checkup camps are organised every year for students in the hostel which would help the parents of the students and the hostel wardens keep a check on the health of the students, so that the required care could be taken.
Attitude Handwriting Analysis
Sri G.V.G Visalakshi College Organized Attitude Handwriting Analysis programme for the hostel students on 01/11/2022.Mr.SureshMurugan was the resourse person who is an Internationally Certified Master of Handwriting Analyst & Certified Handwriting Analysis Specialist, Recognized by the International School of handwriting analysis, by Dr.Erika Karohs Ph.D, California, US. The report enables by analysing students from their handwriting to identify their strengths, weakness and opportunities thereby helping them to build a strong profile. Nearly 40 students living in the hostel availed this opportunity.
Soft Skills Development Programme
Our institution organised Soft skills training sessions for the students on 9 & 10th November 2022. The Soft skill trainer Dr.Kaviya, guide the students in developing skills and job- search strategies required to achieve their career objectives. More than 50 students were benefited by this program.
Awareness Talk Series
Sri G.V.G Visalakshi College organized an Awareness Talk on Menstrual Hygiene Management for the hostel students on 24th Nov 2022. Dr.B.Kaviya was the Resource person for this programme. While addressing the session, she said that Menstruation hygiene is a comprehensive term which includes multiple factors like

Free Health Checkup Camp for Hostel Students.
Free Health Checkup Camp for Hostel Students was organized by Sri G.V.G College of Arts and Science in coordination with Amritha kalasha Ayurveda vaidya sala LLP Hospital on 17 July 2024.The four team members of hospital consisting Dr.Vishnu priya, BAMS, Dr.Habiya BAMS, Miss.Sona and Mr . Prajeeth and 1 Assistant arrived at college at 10:00 AM. Around 50 of our hostellers attended this free checkup. Free physical examination along with Blood pressure, Blood sugar test and oxygen level test were provided by the hospitals. Doctors advised them medicines and consultation during the camp.
