  • About The Department
    An undergraduate program in Information Technology was initiated in the year 2007 with a sanctioned intake of 50 students. Graduates of the department have taken positions in Industry and academic institutions. We give exposure of current trends in IT to our students by inviting experts from industry. Beyond syllabus activities are conducted for the betterment of employment in academia, government, research, industry, engineering and management positions. Various technical and non-technical forums provide an exposure to engineering concepts and technology.

      B.Sc Information Technology (IT) allows you to take your career in a number of different directions. Become a computer network architect, a computer programmer, a computer systems analyst, a database administrator, an information security analyst, an information architect, a web developer and so much more! South University even offers specializations in Database Development and Administration, Information Systems Security, Network Administration and Management, and Multimedia and Web Development.
