Participation Institution in Community Engagement and Rural Development

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), a flagship programme of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India is an opportunity to enable faculty and students of Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) of the country adopt villages for their development. Higher Educational Institutions to work the people of rural India in identifying developmental challenges and evolving appropriate solutions for accelerating sustainable growth of villages.
Faculty and students to be involved in village development plan in collaboration with district administration.
Sri GVG Visalakshi College for Women (Autonomous),Udumalpet is participating in UBA and adopted following villages for their development in collaboration with district administration.

Objectives:

To create Community Awareness Programme on Preventive Measures towards COVID 19 at UBA adopted villages and conducted a survey on Impact of COVID 19.
To focus on social responsibility and community engagement
To encourage the students to participate in the UBA Activities conducted by NIs, CIs and PIs
