Evolving and implementing of quality benchmarks/parameters for various Academic and Administrative activities of the Institution.

Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education.

Arranging for feedback response from students, parents and other stakeholders on quality-related Institutional processes.

Assisting in the organization of Inter and Intra Institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes.

Documenting the various programmes/activities leading to quality improvement and implementing eGovernance.

Short Term Goals 2019-2024

Criterion 1:

To upgrade the choice-based credit system and outcome based education to enhance students’ Calibre to compete for higher education and placement.
To develop the curriculum focussing on skill oriented/value added/ Career programmes to enhance employability and entrepreneurship skills.
To update and enrich the curriculum with new courses to meet the local, regional, national and global needs including topics on Professional ethics, Environment and Sustainability, Gender and Human Values.
To encourage and enable the students to do online MOOC Courses, Field projects, Research Projects and Internship.
To enrich and enact the feedback system.

Criterion 2:

To upgrade the quality of teaching and learning process with ICT enabled environment.
To introduce the need based new programmes to meet global and local needs.
To empower the faculty to use the modern pedagogies with appropriate ICT tools, e-content development and MOOC courses to enhance the intellectual talents of the students.
To enhance the competency of the students by redefining curriculum COs and POs, improving the methodology, transparency and quality of examination and evaluation system to strengthen the outcome based system.
To continuously upgrade the stakeholder’s satisfaction.

Criterion 3:

To develop a centralised Laboratory system by combining the scientific laboratories in the institution.
To enter in MoUs with Private laboratories and university laboratories for advanced research in science.
To frame policies to facilitate collaborative Research programmes at national/ International Level, to excel in research and to publish the same in reputed journals.
To establish a favourable environment for creation and transfer of knowledge by creating awareness, motivating and guiding the students with Incubation centre and start-ups.
The steps to promote healthy practices like consultancy, extension activities and community services for the benefit of the society at large.

Criterion 4:

To increase the number of Smart Classrooms, with modern equipment.
To modernise e-content creation and establish community radio station.
To augment the infra-structure facility in the library, laboratory and Gym.

Criterion 5:

To develop the personality of the students by strengthening the institutions’ student support system in physical, psychological and financial aspects.
To guide the students to build their bright future through higher education and placement.
To strengthen the networking of alumni by opening alumni chapters at national and international level.

To streamline the policies, procedures and regulations for the attainment of institutions’ vision and Mission.
To redesign transparent, decentralised and participative strategies for effective governance.
To Strengthen the IQAS for improvement of quality and achieving academic excellence.

Criterion 7:

To develop a Green and Eco friendly and sustainable campus to provide a congenial working environment to staff and students.
To create awareness about gender equity and constitutional rights, duties and responsibilities.
To strengthen the students awareness on Consumer Rights, Cyber security and Financial and economic sustainability

The composition of the IQAC may be as follows:
1. Chairperson: Head of the Institution
2. One of the teachers as the coordinator of the IQAC

4. One or two members from the Management
