2020 – 2021

Soft skill training programme - Skills queue was organized to enhance the spoken skills, confidence level and employability skills, for all the III UG students from 08.06.2020 to 12.06.2020 in association with Ma Foi Strategic Consultants Pvt Limited, Chennai.
A Career Counselling Programme was organized for III UG students on 25.06.2020.
Mr.Richardson from Evolution Careers, Salem addressed the students about importance of transition from Off-line to On-line, the need of the day.
To create awareness about career opportunities available through competitive examinations, a meeting was organized for third UG students. Miss .S.Tamil Oviya, IAS., Dr.M.Periasamy IRS and Miss.J.Iswarya, IRS from KPR IAS Academy, Coimbatore enlightened about preparation for civil service and other competitive examinations.
The placement cell has arranged on-line soft skill training programme in association with Adroit Technologies, IBM Business Partner from 26.04.2021 to 04.05.2021. Aptitude classes, out of box thinking and professional skills taught to final year UG students to enable the students for placement drives.
The cell has arranged a webinar on “Data Science” on 19.05.2021. The Resource person was Mr. Jeevanandham, from Technical Trainee in FIIT, Avadi Branch, Chennai addressed the gathering about Applications and Opportunities in Data Science.
The placement cell in association with Adroit Technologies, IBM Business Partner conducted on-line soft skill training and Aptitude classes for II UG students from 07.06.2021 to 13.06.2021 to improve Communication, Creative and Critical thinking of the students for placement drives to be conducted in near future.
The cell instructed the students about the importance of Internshala – internship programme and advised them to register for the same. Under this 704 students were registered and some students were selected in Bhumi, International Model United Nations, Warpe Academy and Mr. Study Buddy .
Career Guidance and Counseling Cell organized on - campus drive in association with Bluez Infomatic on 18.02.21. Interested undergraduate students attended this drive and 59 of them were selected as Process Associates.
Under Cognizant Campus Recruitment 2021(conducted on 11.02.2021) two of our students finished their final round of interviews and undergoing their intern in CTS.
Focus-edumatics - US-based Focus Education and FEV Tutor conducted campus drive on 31.05.2021. After completion of their preliminary tests and SKYPE interview 58 students were shortlisted and got placement.
A mega job fair was organized in association with District employment and Career guidance centre at our college campus on 19.12.2020 & 20.12.2020. Around 10260 participants were enrolled and 3011 of them got offer letters.
Students were encouraged to participate in the off- campus drives organized by Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and TCS.
The placement cell also motivated the students to enroll themselves for SSC, TNPSC and BSRB examinations.

2019-20

A mega job fair was organized in association with Tirupur district employment exchange at our college campus on 29.06.2019. Around 4500 participants were enrolled and 475 of them got offer letters.
A motivational talk on“ Secret of Success” was conducted on 17.07.2019 for II and III UG students. Dr. I. Jegan, Motivational specialist, Fynn soft digital concern enlightened the students on life skill training, behavioral modeling, leadership and confidence and personality development To impart the soft skill required to face the interview, training programme was organized for all the III UG students with HR consultant Mrs. P.Nithya Gowri.
Adroit Technologies, IBM Business Partner conducted Aptitude classes for final UG students on 27.07.2019, 02.08.2019, 09.08.2019 and 10.08.2019 who are eligible to attend IT placement drives.
To create awareness about career opportunities available through competitive examinations, a meeting was organized for second UG students. Mrs. Bhooma and Mr.Manoj Kumar from Learn to Lead Academy, Udumalpet enlightened about preparation for civil service and other competitive examinations.
The cell has arranged a seminar on “Work place management” on 21.08.2019 by Mr. Pavithra Subash from “Success resource academy” for PG students.
A placement readiness enhancement programme was arranged on 21.08.2019 for Commerce, English and Economics students by Prof. K.Sampath kumar and Dr. R.Vishal kumar from Happy Valley business school, Coimbatore. Orientation programme on NET/SET examinations was conducted for I and II PG students on 26.09.2019 by Mr.S.Jawahar, Danvandhar Academy, Udumalpet.

Career Guidance and Counseling Cell organized on - campus drives in association with language management institutes and insurance companies. During the academic year 2019 -20 six recruiters participated in the drive.

Career Guidance and Counseling Cell organized On - campus drives in association with language management institutes and insurance companies. During the academic year 2018 -19 seven recruiters participated in the drive.
Students were encouraged to participate in the Off- campus drive organized by Infosys, Cognizant and TCS.
